[Remote] Regional VP of Operations - West Region

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Performance Foodservice is a company dedicated to supporting America’s food distribution system. The Regional VP of Operations is responsible for managing operations across the Western Region, ensuring operational controls, and achieving corporate goals while maintaining financial strength and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides the leadership and management necessary to ensure that the assigned locations have proper operations controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency
• Provides day-to-day leadership and management that mirror the mission and values of the company
• Leads the division to achieve and surpass operational excellence standards, business goals and objectives
• Supports the development, formulation, communication and implementation of effective operational strategies, goals, programs and processes
• Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organizations
• Enhances, develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the region and company
• Establishes credibility throughout the region as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges
• Enacts contingency plans as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues, and participates in post-mortem analysis of problems providing input for future process improvements
• Keeps the company and region leadership promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action, which may be taken

Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• 6-10 years' experience with three to five years supervisory experience and a minimum of ten years related foodservice experience
• Must reside in the Western region of the US
• Must live close to Major airport
