[Remote] Quality Process Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, dedicated to oncology, women’s health, and organ health. The Quality Process Analyst will design and automate quality analytics reports, gather production metrics, and support compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate quality analytics reports using business intelligence tools and databases to support performance monitoring
- Gather and monitor production metrics, analyzing data sets to discover trends and develop actionable business insights
- Generate recurring reports regarding team productivity and operational processes, including volume tracking and workload management
- Manage technical workflows and documentation via Jira, including ticket management for analytics and relaying requirements between operations and engineering teams
- Coordinate quality escalations, reviewing trends across issues such as process changes or panel state updates
- Monitor compliance and quality records, including NCRs, CAPAs, amended reports, and HIPAA-related incidents
- Support process mapping initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous quality and process improvement
- Utilize SQL and statistical packages to perform data analysis, write scripts, and conduct hypothesis testing (e.g., AQLs)
- Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) to maintain high-quality production standards
- This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and will have access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job
- Support organizational training initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA/PHI privacy and security requirements
- Meet established deadlines accurately and with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Bachelor's in science, engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database query, data segmentation techniques
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Independent worker, a self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills
- Has an ability to be productive and successful in an intense work environment
- Basic understanding with business intelligence tools
- Microsoft Office / Google Docs and Windows workstation
- Instant message tools (e.g. Slack, Google Hangouts)
- 1+ years of overall data centric experience preferred; preferably in business data analysis
- Experience with reporting packages (such as QlikView, PowerBI, Business Objects etc.) is a plus
