[Remote] Assistant Vice President, Healthcare Growth Strategy

EXL is a leading data analytics and digital operations company, and they are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Healthcare Growth Strategy to drive business growth for their Payment Integrity Healthcare strategic growth unit. The role involves leading sales enablement, strategic deal orchestration, and account expansion while partnering closely with various teams to accelerate growth and strengthen market positioning.
Responsibilities
- Architect strategic deal and solution development for large-scale healthcare pursuits, transforming complex client pain points into industry-leading value propositions
- Spearhead the Go-To-Market strategy for the Payment Integrity SGU, providing executive governance and oversight to accelerate growth and market penetration
- Lead high-stakes client negotiations and deal architecture (RFP/RFI/RFQ), unifying cross-functional global teams (delivery, account, sales, implementation, analytics, technology, operations, finance, leadership) to deliver tailored enterprise solutions
- Conduct in-depth research & analysis on prospective clients & healthcare industry (Payer & provider)
- Drive rigorous due diligence & account strategy, identify potential growth opportunities, and assist in developing client strategies to expand market share and increase revenue
- Develop pricing strategies, frameworks & commercial models balancing competitive edge with long-term business profitability
- Direct advanced industry research and competitive analysis to anticipate Payer/Provider shifts and position the organization as a market leader
- Oversee the creation of high-impact marketing strategies, content and sales enablement tools that solidify the brand’s presence in the Payment Integrity space
- Serve as a domain thought leader in healthcare payer/provider ecosystems, claims lifecycle, and payment integrity, influencing both internal strategy and external market perception
- Continuously identify emerging opportunities, disruptive trends, and strategic risks, proactively shaping the organization’s response & market positioning
- Participate & lead client workshops, consulting engagements to understand client objectives and develop compelling business cases demonstrating how EXL's PI (payment integrity) offerings can strategically address their needs and drive desired outcomes
- Develop high-impact presentations and executive briefs, effectively communicating insights for leadership consumption
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, or engineering
- 10 to 12 plus years of experience in strategy, presales, bid management, consulting, or growth roles within healthcare/health-tech
- Strong understanding of US healthcare ecosystem, Payer & Provider market, claims lifecycle, and payment integrity domain
- Exposure to analytics, digital transformation, and outsourcing models in healthcare
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience working in both payer and provider environments
- Knowledge of claims auditing & PI business
