- Work with PostgreSQL as a primary data store—queries, migrations, and routine operations
- Help manage deployment-time secrets across environments
- Build and maintain monitoring, dashboards, and alerting with Grafana and related tooling
- Instrument services for health, performance, and usage insight
- Participate in incident response and on-call; investigate issues and drive fixes
- Write and maintain automation, tooling, and service code that supports the platform
- Provide reliable local and staging environments for application developers
- Improve deployment safety, rollback, and release confidence ahead of launches
- Partner with application teams to ship features into production
- This role requires comfort working alongside AI‑powered tools while maintaining strong engineering judgment, validation, and accountability for outcomes
- Engineers will contribute to the adoption and continuous improvement of AI‑enabled workflows by providing feedback, identifying opportunities for automation, and safely incorporating AI assistance into repeatable operational patterns
- This includes leveraging approved AI tools and agents to assist with platform operations, troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and workflow efficiency under established governance and best practices
- Engineers on the INFOPS IT Architecture team are expected to actively use and support AI‑assisted and agentic engineering workflows as part of their day‑to‑day work
