[Remote] Vice President, Marketing Strategy and Operations

The Vice President, Marketing Strategy & Operations is responsible for defining and operating the marketing growth engine for the organization, setting the vision for how Marketing drives scalable revenue impact and ensuring accountability to pipeline creation and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CMO to define and operationalize the end-to-end marketing growth strategy aligned to company-wide revenue and market expansion goals — establishing Marketing as a co-owner of pipeline creation and progression across the full funnel
- Own the global marketing operating model, leading annual and quarterly planning across Marketing to ensure alignment with Sales, Product, and corporate priorities — driving prioritization and resource allocation to maximize pipeline impact and market outcomes
- Develop and maintain the rhythm of the business for pipeline creation and progression, leading demand generation calls cross-functionally and owning Marketing's performance framework with a focus on pipeline, ROI, revenue impact, and executive-level visibility
- Define and lead a next-generation marketing data and technology strategy — accelerating adoption of AI to support micro-segmentation, content optimization, and predictive insights while evolving the martech ecosystem to support ABM, GEO, and cross-channel engagement strategies
- Build and lead a high-performing Marketing Strategy & Operations function, establishing governance frameworks, processes, and best practices that drive speed, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the global organization
- Advance digital and AI-driven visibility strategies including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), enabling strong alignment across brand, communications, analyst relations, and events to drive competitive market leadership and long-term growth
Skills
- 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience with demonstrated ownership of strategy, operations, and measurable revenue impact
- Proven track record of scaling marketing functions in a growing, global B2B software or technology environment
- Deep experience in demand generation, marketing operations, and performance management tied directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Strong understanding of modern marketing capabilities including AI, ABM, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making
- Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing enterprise strategy at the highest levels of an organization
- MBA or advanced degree in addition to a Bachelor's degree
- Experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives related to systems, data, and evolving ways of working across a global marketing function
- Demonstrated ability to drive data integrity, governance, and usability across complex, multi-platform marketing technology ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and emerging AI-driven visibility and search strategies
- Proven ability to thrive and lead effectively in a fast-paced, globally distributed, and continuously evolving organization
