[Remote] Social Content Coordinator

They are seeking a Social Content Coordinator to drive content creation across various social media platforms, focusing on engaging and platform-native content while staying in tune with trends and audience preferences.
Responsibilities
- Own execution of evergreen and episodic content series across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Develop and maintain recurring content series that drive audience engagement and support business priorities
- Create, edit, publish, and appear in social-first content optimized for each platform
- Serve as on-camera talent for social content, creating authentic, platform-native videos that resonate with audiences
- Identify trends, sounds, memes, and cultural moments and translate them into timely, brand-relevant content
- Develop recurring content franchises and episodic series that establish consistent audience touchpoints and increase engagement
- Support consistent publishing cadence across channels, with a focus on increasing short-form content output
- Partner with Community Manager to identify audience insights and transform them into content opportunities
- Leverage user-generated content and community conversations to fuel always-on storytelling
- Shoot, edit, and package content using platform-native best practices
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and copy aligned to BUILT's brand voice
- Own scheduling and publishing of always-on and reactive content
- Ensure content is optimized for performance across TikTok, Instagram, and applicable platforms
- Support TikTok publishing goals through consistent content creation, trend participation, and content experimentation
- Support content organization, asset management, and content calendar execution
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for iteration and improvement
- Surface trends, learnings, and content recommendations to the broader Social team
- Partner with Social Media Managers to test new content formats and creative approaches
- Contribute to ongoing optimization of content series, publishing strategy, and audience engagement efforts
Skills
- 2-3 years of experience creating content for social media, either brand-side, agency-side, or as a creator
- Comfortable being on camera and creating content in front of the lens, including product demos, trends, storytelling, and lifestyle content
- Confident creator with a strong understanding of what performs in short-form video environments
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and platform best practices
- Strong video editing skills with experience creating short-form content at scale
- Strong understanding of social trends, internet culture, and emerging platform behaviors
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Experience managing content calendars, scheduling tools, and publishing workflows
- Comfortable analyzing content performance and applying learnings to future content
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
