[Remote] Director of Finance & Accounting (Restaurants)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Origin Staffing is seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting for a multi-entity restaurant portfolio. The role involves leading FP&A and accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial strategies and support for newly acquired entities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop 2 FP&A team members, while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting
• Review accounting outputs and help connect close, reporting, and business needs across the platform
• Partner directly with senior leadership on ad hoc analysis, decision support, and finance-related operational priorities
• Oversee technical accounting matters, including lease accounting, while strengthening reporting accuracy and controls
• Provide strategic finance support to newly acquired restaurant entities, helping integrate processes, reporting, and financial discipline
• Lead multiple simultaneous audits across operating entities, managing external auditors and driving an organized, audit-ready process
• Help build scalable finance infrastructure in a lean, high-visibility environment

Skills

• 7+ years of progressive experience across audit, accounting, and finance leadership
• Strong experience managing audits across multiple entities
• Deep understanding of audit support, reporting, and FP&A
• Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit consumer space
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on role with both strategic and tactical responsibilities
• Public accounting background preferred
