[Remote] Training Specialist 3 - Senior Instructional Designer

Global Technical Talent is an Inc. 5000 Company seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to contribute to the HR Enterprise Learning & Development group. The role involves leading the development of learning programs, consulting with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with corporate training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of learning programs using proven ID models, practices, and methodologies
- Consult with senior leaders and training delivery partners to close knowledge and skill gaps within the organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and align learning projects to strategic initiatives and departmental goals
- Build and manage productive relationships with internal groups and OU stakeholders
- Analyze, design, and develop new training curricula, participant guides, job aids, and assessments that are complex in nature
- May conduct job task analysis and Train the Trainer sessions
- Maintain/revise existing curricula and learning assets (including assessments)
- Work with internal clients and subject matter experts to determine program and learning objectives
- Will design and develop learning assets
Skills
- Five years of experience with instructional design, graphic design, and/or learning technology
- Analyze, design, and develop new training curricula, participant guides, job aids, and assessments that are complex in nature
- May conduct job task analysis and Train the Trainer sessions
- Maintain/revise existing curricula and learning assets (including assessments)
- Work with internal clients and subject matter experts to determine program and learning objectives. Will design and develop learning assets
- Must possess strong analytical and project management skills and have great attention to detail
- May work as part of a larger project team and work with multiple stakeholders
- Will develop training design documents
- Must have a working proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and e-learning software
- Must have at least five years of experience developing learning assets
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, graphic design, instructional technology, or equivalent work experience
- Experience applying adult learning theory, including measuring outcomes of learning
- Experience managing complex technical curriculum maintenance and/or programs
- Experience developing technical training for new and existing employees
- Analytical and project management skills and great attention to detail
- Experience consulting with stakeholders to understand performance and skill gaps, determine learning solutions, and link to goals
- Experience managing client relationships
- Experience leading teams
