[Remote] Regional Sales Manager (Remote) - Illinios
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Talentsearchpro is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who is scientifically minded and passionate about the life sciences industry. In this role, you will drive territory growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships across various markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive territory sales growth and achieve revenue targets for the biochemistry product portfolio
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic institutions, biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical organizations, and industrial customers
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and technical information
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts
- Collect and analyze market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Attend scientific conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer satisfaction, order fulfillment, and marketing initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline is required
- Experience within the chemical, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
- Proven customer-facing experience in scientific sales, business development, technical support, or account management
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be based in Illinois
