[Remote] Business Development Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Evolve HR Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the engineered materials space seeking a Business Development Manager. The role involves building a pipeline, prospecting new clients, and driving sales in the Filtration, Nonwovens, Medical, Composites, and Automotive industries.
Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline that delivers incremental growth annually
- Breaking into new accounts
- Expanding into new applications and markets
- Creating demand where it doesn’t exist today
- You’ll own your territory like a business
- Prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business
- Getting in front of customers, plant floors, engineering teams, and decision makers
- Selling to both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Turning complex needs into practical, profitable solutions
- Working cross-functionally to deliver on what you sell
- Managing your pipeline
Skills
- Expertise in selling into the Filtration, Nonwovens, medical, composites, or Automotive industries
- Ability to create opportunities where they don't exist and turn them into revenue
- No account managers; must come with contacts and an internal drive to find new clients
- Experience in building a pipeline that delivers incremental growth annually
- Ability to break into new accounts and expand into new applications and markets
- Experience in creating demand where it doesn't exist today
- Ownership of territory like a business
- Experience in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business
- Ability to get in front of customers, plant floors, engineering teams, and decision makers
- Experience selling to both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Ability to turn complex needs into practical, profitable solutions
- Experience working cross-functionally to deliver on what you sell
- Experience managing your pipeline
- Consistently exceeded quota and driven real growth
- Comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, and long sales cycles
- Ability to navigate technical sales conversations
- Ability to create leads rather than wait for them
- Care about winning, not just participating
- 5+ years of meeting or exceeding sales goals, with organic growth >10% per year
- 2+ years in the materials, nonwoven, or converting industries that sell into Filtration, Medical, Industrial, Automotive, and Composite markets
- Preferred location is on the East Coast or the Midwest, close to the customers
