Regional Sales Manager(Full Remote*Northeast Region)

[ Position ​​​​​] Regional Sales Manager [ Summary ] We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth within the automation and industrial sector. This role is responsible for managing channel partner relationships, developing new OEM business, expanding customer accounts, and executing sales strategies across the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, supporting distributors and end users, delivering technical and commercial solutions, and building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience, the ability to manage complex sales cycles, and a proven track record of business development. Candidates should be based within the assigned territory and be willing to travel up to 50% to support customers, channel partners, and new business opportunities. [ Essential Duties ] ・Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals and KPIs. ・Identify, target, and close new business opportunities within the automation and industrial markets. ・Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and end users. ・Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle. ・Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and solution-based discussions tailored to customer needs. ・Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support business strategy. ・Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory growth plans. ・Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and customer meetings. ・Support and develop channel partner relationships to increase market share and revenue growth. ・Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, engineering, and marketing to ensure customer success.   • Base Salary: $90,000 - per year

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in automation, industrial controls, or related technical industries.
  • Experience working with distributors, OEMs, and channel sales networks.
  • Proven track record in territory development, channel sales, and account management.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, SCADA, robotics, sensors, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Experience selling to manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, packaging, logistics, or related industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a regional sales role.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
