Weekend Telemedicine provider

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Multi state licensed Weekend Telemedicine Provider to join our innovative healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments utilizing telehealth platforms, ensuring accurate documentation of vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
• Provide expert guidance on acute pain management, medication administration, and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Manage urgent care cases by triaging symptoms effectively, determining appropriate levels of care, and coordinating follow-up as necessary.
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to document clinical encounters thoroughly and accurately.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, or basic life support interventions when required within telehealth scope.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and post-acute care strategies for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with disabilities.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality while delivering seamless virtual care.

Experience

• Proven telehealth experience with a strong understanding of telemedicine best practices and virtual patient engagement.
• Clinical background in internal medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, or hospital medicine—preferably with hospital or Level I/II trauma center experience.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for efficient documentation and data management.
• Experience in managing complex cases involving critical care procedures like ventilator management or ICU protocols is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical coding systems including CPT, ICD-9/10 coding for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
• Previous work with diverse patient groups including pediatric (pediatrics), geriatric (geriatrics), behavioral health, or assisted living populations enhances your candidacy.
• Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and medication administration protocols.
