Virtual Assistant Needed: Research E-commerce Brands for Email Marketing Outreach
We're an e-commerce email & SMS marketing agency looking for a detail-oriented research VA to help us source new client leads. What you'll do: Find e-commerce brands (fashion, jewelry, apparel — any sub-niche) that match our target profile and send us a structured report on each one. Expect roughly 30-50 qualified brands per batch, which should take about 7-8 hours of work. A brand must meet BOTH of these to qualify: Running 35+ active ads on Meta (check via Meta Ads Library) Getting at least 25,000+ visitors/month to their website AND must show at least ONE of these (training videos provided for each): Bad/inconsistent email design or sequencing — top priority, most important flag Double opt-in enabled on their email signup — high priority No active email flows — confirmed by signing up via their popup and checking back after a few days; if no flow emails arrive, this counts Bonus signals (note if present, not required to qualify): Weak/poorly designed signup popup Discount code shown publicly on-site right after signup instead of sent via email/SMS For each qualified brand, log into our CRM (provided as a Google Sheet): Brand name + Instagram handle Contact email Approximate ad count + monthly traffic estimate Which red flag(s) you found, with a short note on the strongest one Sourcing: Any channel works — Instagram, TikTok, Meta Ads Library, wherever. We'll provide an exclusion list of brands we've already contacted so there's no duplicate work. Avoid: Anything on our exclusion list, low ad spend/traffic brands, and anything outside fashion/jewelry/apparel e-commerce. Mostly English-speaking brands preferred — a few non-English ones are fine if everything else checks out. Training provided: Short Loom videos covering each red flag, a written reference doc, and a CRM (Google Sheet) for logging all submissions, before your first batch. Ideal candidate: Comfortable researching brands on Instagram/TikTok and using ad libraries Detail-oriented — we need real numbers, not estimates pulled from a guess Good written English for clear per-brand notes Available for a recurring weekly batch, ongoing role
