Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of network operations engineers and technicians responsible for monitoring and maintaining the 5G network. Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of 5G services. Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for network outages and performance degradations. Collaborate with planning and engineering teams to ensure smooth rollout of new 5G features and technologies. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for network operations, reporting on performance trends and areas for improvement. Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs) for network equipment and services. Develop and refine operational procedures, documentation, and best practices for 5G network operations. Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in telecommunications network operations, with at least 3 years in a management or team lead role focusing on wireless or mobile networks. Demonstrated experience with 5G core network architecture and technologies (SA/NSA, RAN, Transport). Strong understanding of network monitoring tools, performance analysis, and fault management systems. Proven experience in managing operational teams and driving performance metrics. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a remote environment. Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure in a remote setting.
