[Remote] Senior Impact Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Enveritas is dedicated to improving the sustainability of smallholder agriculture and farmer livelihoods. The Senior Impact Analyst will identify, design, and drive interventions that enhance outcomes for smallholder farmers and their communities, utilizing rigorous analysis and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Researching, analyzing, and quantifying the potential of solutions to sustainability challenges — with rigor, accountability, and a view to practical testing
- Assessing and developing candidate interventions and ideas across precision agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, carbon sequestration, microfinance, and related areas
- Leading the design, launch, and management of programs — piloting, partnering, monitoring, evaluating, and scaling what works
- Spending substantial time at origin, in smallholder communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, or Asia — to stay close to the work and the people it is designed to serve
- Collaborating across the organization and with external partners and stakeholders to build the credibility and relationships that make change possible
Skills
- 2-6 years of experience
- At least 2 years in a high-intensity environment: strategy consulting, finance/PE, a VC-backed start-up, or similar
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Familiarity with large datasets
- Some knowledge of basic statistics and the scientific method
- Comfort with R, Python (including the ability to use AI tools to code and automate analyses)
- The ability to structure complex problems and communicate them clearly and succinctly
- A ruthlessly positive attitude
- Motivated by the mission
- Genuine appetite for fieldwork and the adaptability it demands
- A university degree in science or engineering
- 1–3 additional years of experience in a domain relevant to the role
- A background in quantitative scientific research
