[Remote] Wholesale Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Skinnydip London is a growing lifestyle brand seeking a Wholesale Account Executive to expand their presence in the US market. The role involves managing relationships with key retail partners and driving new business development, particularly in licensing opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing relationships with key US retail partners, selling in our seasonal collections and maximising new business opportunities with each partner
- Drive forward new business development across the US, in particular focusing on licensing opportunities with retail partners
- Solid understanding of the production process and Critical Path Management
- Ensure timely and successful delivery solutions according to each customer’s needs and objectives
- Report clearly on progress to internal departments and business executives based in the UK
- Ensure customer relationships are maintained and developed across the US retail landscape
- Liaise regularly with our suppliers in the Far East, India and Vietnam to negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely production and delivery of all orders
- Retain a strong relationship with our Merchandising, Production and Design teams in the UK to ensure any production or delivery issues are resolved and all orders run smoothly
Skills
- Minimum 4 years' experience working in a similar Account Executive, Account Manager or Sales role
- Highly driven and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of the order, production, shipping and invoice process
- Excellent communication skills, both externally and across a remote, international team
- Comfortable working across UK and US time zones with overlap for key calls and meetings
- Enthusiastic, self confident and self motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote role
- Ability to work on an individual level as well as within a wider team environment
- Proactive with strong problem solving skills
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges, driven to continually improve
- Ambitious and entrepreneurial
- Preferably within the fashion, apparel, accessories or consumer goods industry
- Ideally has previous experience working in licensing (brands such as Disney, Mattel or Hasbro)
- Existing relationships with major US retailers such as Target, Walmart, Five Below, Claire's, Hot Topic or similar
