[Remote] Transmission Line Engineering Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kintec Search is an established engineering firm seeking a Transmission Engineering Manager to lead and grow its Power Delivery team. The role involves technical leadership, team management, and project oversight in transmission line design, with a focus on driving project execution and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of transmission line engineers and designers across multiple projects
• Oversee the technical execution and delivery of transmission line projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
• Serve as a technical leader and decision-maker on complex design challenges (69kV–500kV+)
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance development for junior and mid-level engineers
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, supporting project communication and relationship management
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and project deliverables
• Support project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting in coordination with leadership
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals and client engagement

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in transmission line engineering and design
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Strong experience with PLS-CADD (required)
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineering teams
• Solid understanding of NESC, structural design, and transmission line standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with clients and internal stakeholders
