[Remote] Systems Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The California Department of Justice is seeking a Systems Analyst to join the Application Development Bureau. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems that support law enforcement, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project management.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain statewide information systems that directly support law enforcement efforts
- Sustain effective communications with all stakeholders and team members
- Perform systems analysis reviews and clarifications in regards to business and functional requirements
- Confirm technical requirements with other ITS I and ITS II’s who are responsible for software engineering and architecture
- Collaborate with CRAU’s developers, administrators and consultants to facilitate the completion of as-is system architecture, database schema, programming code, testing certifications, and disaster recovery documents
- Document and recommend to-be technical solutions
- Monitor and process requests submitted to CRAU’s intake process
- Participate on projects as a systems analyst, technology coordinator, or project coordinator
