[Remote] Sr. HR Systems Administrator (CONTINGENT)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vontier is seeking an experienced Senior HR Systems Administrator with strong Dayforce expertise to join their Global HRIS team. This role involves managing and improving the company's HR technology systems, focusing on Dayforce and its integrations, while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Be the main technical expert for Dayforce HCM, managing system setup, updates, and improvements across payroll, time tracking, and talent management
- Build, maintain, and monitor integrations between Dayforce and other HR systems/vendors to ensure secure and accurate data flow
- Create and update documentation for integrations, including data flows, field mappings, system rules, and error handling
- Support Dayforce payroll processes, including file uploads, benefit deductions, loan imports, and time collection issues
- Configure Dayforce modules such as HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Onboarding
- Support Dayforce releases by reviewing updates, testing changes, and communicating impacts to stakeholders
- Provide support for other HR systems, including SAP SuccessFactors, Taleo, Absorb/MyLearning, and ServiceNow
- Manage user access, security roles, MFA/SSO settings, and conduct access reviews/audits
- Handle support tickets, especially urgent payroll, time, and integration issues, to reduce business disruption
- Work with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business teams to turn business needs into technical solutions
- Support data migrations, system cutovers, and HRIS work related to acquisitions and divestitures
- Develop user guides, technical documents, runbooks, and training materials, and provide training when needed
- Create and support reports using Dayforce tools, Snowflake/Data Lake, and GHRD analytics platforms
- Ensure HR systems meet security, privacy, compliance, and SOX requirements, and support audit activities
- Make sure compliance reports are accurate and submitted on time
- Participate in HRIS projects such as new system implementations, upgrades, and process automation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of HRIS experience in large global organizations
- Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM, including configuration, administration, and integrations
- Experience building and supporting HR system integrations using APIs, SFTP, and data mapping
- Familiarity with HR platforms such as SuccessFactors, Taleo, ADP eTime, ServiceNow, Absorb, HireRight, Phenom, bSwift, Fidelity, Snowflake, D365, and LinkedIn Learning
- Skills in SQL and/or Python for data validation, reporting, and transformation
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues, integration failures, and data problems quickly
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and learning
- Experience with SOX compliance, data privacy, security controls, and audits
- Strong attention to detail, organization, dependability, and customer service skills
- Experience working on global HR projects and supporting acquisitions/divestitures
- Ability to work well with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and vendors
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation and process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights
- Dayforce certification or formal training
- Experience with talent acquisition integrations
- Familiarity with people analytics or engagement survey tools
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of compliance reporting such as EEO-1 and Vets-4212
- Change management experience, including communication and training
