[Remote] Software Engineer, Product (Frontend-leaning)

They are seeking a full-stack product engineer with deep frontend expertise to create customer-facing product experiences and improve their frontend systems.
Responsibilities
- Build product experiences end to end — Own customer-facing features from concept through production across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, and AI-powered workflows
- Lead frontend implementation for complex products — Build intuitive, performant user experiences while bringing strong judgment around frontend architecture, state management, and application design
- Strengthen our frontend foundations — Improve performance, maintainability, developer experience, and technical quality across our React application. Drive major upgrades and architectural improvements when needed
- Create reusable systems and patterns — Build thoughtful abstractions, components, and frameworks that help the team move faster without sacrificing product quality
- Partner deeply with product and design — Turn ambiguous customer problems into elegant product experiences and iterate quickly based on customer feedback
- Shape the future of AI-assisted software development — Evaluate, experiment with, and operationalize AI coding agents and development workflows. Help us determine how engineers and AI work together to build products faster, with higher quality, and greater leverage
Skills
- 4+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production software
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, with the ability to comfortably move between frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Exceptional frontend engineering fundamentals, including experience building large React applications and making sound decisions around architecture, performance, maintainability, and developer experience
- A strong product mindset and track record of owning customer-facing features from idea through launch
- Experience partnering closely with product managers and designers to turn ambiguous problems into polished user experiences
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bias toward ownership and shipping, especially in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve quickly
- Experience using AI coding agents in your daily workflow and excitement about how AI is changing software development
- Experience with our full stack: TypeScript, React, Storybook, and data visualization libraries such as Visx, D3, Chart.js, or similar
- Experience improving frontend performance, application architecture, build systems, or developer experience at scale
- Experience working on B2B SaaS, operational software, support tooling, or workflow-heavy products
