[Remote] Skilled Trades Recruiter

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Recruiter to support their skilled trades hiring efforts in Lyndhurst, VA. This position plays a key role in managing the full recruitment lifecycle and partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire top-tier trades talent.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for all skilled trades positions
• Screen resumes, evaluate applicants, and conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews
• Serve as the main contact for prospective candidates and guide them through the hiring process
• Partner with department managers and directors to assess hiring needs and advise on staffing solutions
• Post jobs across internal and external sites, social media platforms, college boards, and career networks
• Source candidates through direct outreach, referrals, research, online platforms, and recruitment agencies
• Develop and maintain relationships with management, candidates, and external recruiting sources
• Assist with developing succession plans and addressing staffing gaps
• Manage the job offer process, including offer negotiation and delivery
• Oversee candidate background checks, reference checks, and drug screenings
• Prepare recruiting reports, presentations, and support ad-hoc recruiting projects
• Maintain marketing and promotional materials for career fairs and trade shows
• Represent the company at recruiting events and assist in onboarding new recruiters

Skills

• Proven success in full-cycle recruiting with strong hiring outcomes
• Ability to manage multiple openings across departments and geographic locations
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced recruiting environment
• Proficient in sourcing strategies including Boolean search, passive outreach, and leveraging social media/job boards
• Skilled in evaluating candidates for both technical qualifications and cultural fit
• Experience guiding hiring managers through the recruitment process
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Juicebox.ai)
• Ability to craft compelling job descriptions and candidate outreach communications
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods
• Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
• Bachelor's degree
