- Identify, analyze, develop, configure, and optimize process improvements for our evolving process design
- Lead conceptual and detailed process design of laboratory and bench scale rigs to generate process data supporting pilot and demo conceptual design. Support commissioning of said rigs on-site as necessary
- Partner with colleagues to convert modeling insights into implementable projects including equipment specification, control philosophies, installation scope of work documents, and commissioning plans
- Leverage and create simplified models in Excel and VBA
- Apply statistical analysis tools to the visualization and analysis of experimental and process data, and to the development of correlations to summarize that data
- Engage in Design Risk Assessments including HAZID and HAZOP analyses where appropriate
- Manage relationships with key client stakeholders and relevant subcontractors and equipment suppliers
- Evaluate pilot and production equipment's overall performance, reliability, and safety
- Alter and modify designs to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
