[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst, OCI, Spotlights

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oracle is a leading company in cloud infrastructure, and they are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for their OCI Spotlights Team. This role involves managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for OCI’s business units and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive financial excellence and support growth.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for OCI’s business units
• Analyze actuals, metrics, trends, and forecasts, comparing results against previous periods, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions
• Build strong relationships across the OCI Finance and Business teams, delivering consistent, high-quality, and timely results
• Drive initiatives to enhance financial processes, improve accuracy, increase operational efficiency, and uphold accounting guidelines to optimize the OCI P&L
• Develop ad hoc financial models and identify efficiency opportunities, particularly in the data center space
• Leverage the broader Oracle Financial community to gather and analyze information, resolve business issues, and support cross-functional projects
• Prepare financial presentations for business stakeholders and manage quarterly reporting schedules
• Participate in quarter-end close processes and activities in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Business teams

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive finance experience
• Strong financial acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• MBA preferred
• Knowledge of cloud technology and infrastructure, or experience supporting engineering teams (preferred, not required)
