[Remote] Sales Account Manager - Education Division

The Sales Account Manager - Education Division will lead business development efforts, build partnerships with school districts, and drive growth in K-12 staffing services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for K-12 staffing services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with school districts and educational organizations
  • Meet and exceed sales goals, KPIs, and territory objectives
  • Analyze market trends and forecast growth opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing to develop effective client outreach campaigns
  • Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, and RFP responses
  • Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM reporting
  • Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Support client onboarding and implementation
  • Serve as a primary or backup account manager when needed
  • Resolve escalated client issues while ensuring an exceptional customer experience
  • Collaborate with account managers to develop annual hiring forecasts
  • Build lasting relationships with school leaders and district decision-makers
  • Review client agreements and monitor client satisfaction and retention metrics
  • Represent the company during client meetings and industry events
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development as the division grows
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and accountability measures
  • Develop scalable systems and operational processes that support growth
  • Lead change management initiatives and continuous process improvement
  • Support talent development, onboarding, and retention initiatives across the division

Skills

  • 3+ years of business development experience in staffing, healthcare, education, or a related industry
  • Experience with consultative, long-cycle B2B sales
  • Strong background in contract negotiations and responding to RFPs
  • Experience using CRM and ATS platforms to manage sales pipelines and client relationships
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Understanding of K-12 staffing models and special education services is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with federal and state education regulations, including special education compliance, is strongly preferred
