[Remote] Project Manager, Professional Services

They are seeking a Project Manager, Professional Services to lead complex software implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple customer implementation projects from kickoff through successful go-live
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and action items
- Coordinate project activities across customers, Professional Services consultants, Product, Support, and other internal teams
- Serve as the primary project contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively communicate status updates and mitigation plans
- Facilitate recurring project meetings, document action items, and ensure accountability for deliverables
- Manage project scope, timelines, and customer expectations while helping resolve day-to-day implementation challenges
- Coordinate customer readiness activities, including training schedules, testing, and go-live planning
- Escalate project issues appropriately while working collaboratively to drive timely resolution
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reporting
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve implementation processes, templates, and delivery best practices
Skills
- 5+ years of project management experience delivering SaaS software implementations or other complex customer-facing projects
- Managing multiple concurrent implementation projects with cross-functional teams
- Building project plans, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating customer communications
- Working with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
- Experience implementing enterprise software, preferably within higher education, ERP, finance, research administration, or other administrative systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams
