[Remote] Enterprise Account Manager - Clinical Outcome Assessments

Wiley is a company dedicated to transforming knowledge into impact, and they are seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to develop and manage strategic relationships with top pharmaceutical companies for their Clinical Outcome Assessment Solutions business. The role involves leading commercial engagements, building account plans, and coordinating with strategic partners to support customer trial portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage senior-level relationships within top-20 pharmaceutical accounts, including procurement, clinical development, and COA strategy stakeholders
- Build account plans grounded in customer trial portfolios, instrument usage, and clinical priorities
- Lead complex commercial engagements end to end, from qualification and proposal development through negotiation and close
- Coordinate with our strategic delivery partner on enterprise accounts where joint engagement is appropriate, managing the Wiley commercial position
- Provide pipeline reporting and forecasting through Salesforce, including market intelligence on competitive activity and customer trends
- Represent Wiley at senior levels within pharmaceutical procurement and clinical development organizations and at industry conferences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years in enterprise sales or strategic account management within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or clinical research industry
- Demonstrable track record of closing significant multi-year agreements with large pharmaceutical companies
- Experience navigating complex multi-stakeholder procurement processes
- Consultative selling capability: able to diagnose customer needs across clinical trial portfolios and structure commercial solutions
- Strong negotiation skills at senior levels
- Proficient with Salesforce or equivalent CRM and able to build compelling commercial proposals and business cases
- MBA or postgraduate degree in life sciences or business
- Direct experience in COA, electronic COA (eCOA), clinical trial services, or intellectual property licensing to pharmaceutical companies
- Existing relationships within top-20 pharmaceutical procurement or clinical development
- Knowledge of the eCOA market landscape and competitive dynamics in clinical trial services
- Additional European or Asian languages an advantage for global pharmaceutical accounts
