[Remote] National Account Manager (Data Center Colocation)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Shermco Industries is North America’s largest and fastest growing NETA-accredited electrical testing organization. The National Account Manager is responsible for building long-term relationships with key clients in the colocation data center segment, driving revenue growth, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Establishing trust with key stakeholders to secure long-term partnerships
- Understanding client needs to propose solutions that ensure their success and expand account value
- Serving as the key link between clients and internal teams (marketing, sales, support) to meet deadlines
- Negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and preparing regular reports on account progress
- Acting as the first point of escalation to solve issues and maintain satisfaction
- Hold meetings with c-level executives externally and internally
Skills
- Proven experience as a national account manager, key account manager or in a regional account manager role
- Colo data center experience with one or more of the following: (Digital Reality, Compass, Aligned Data Centers, QTS, Powerhouse)
- Experience selling electrical or related engineering services
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data and tracking KPIs to inform strategies
- Tools: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
