[Remote] Mechanical Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. InGenivm Group is a world-leading forensic engineering and advisory consultancy, and they are seeking an experienced Forensic Biomechanical Engineer to investigate complex injury causation matters. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles and biomechanical analysis to evaluate injury mechanisms and provide scientifically defensible opinions for attorneys, insurers, corporations, and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic biomechanical analyses and injury causation assessments
- Evaluate accident dynamics, occupant kinematics, and human injury mechanisms
- Review medical records, diagnostic imaging, accident reports, and technical evidence
- Prepare clear, concise, and defensible expert reports
- Support litigation teams through case analysis, depositions, and trial preparation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary forensic engineering and accident reconstruction experts
- Participate in business development and client relationship management activities
Skills
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in biomechanics, injury analysis, accident reconstruction, or forensic consulting
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in Expert Witness Testimony
- Experience with biomechanical modeling, injury analysis, or crash reconstruction software
