[Remote] Marketing Manager, Contract-to-Hire
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blue Dog Bakery is a leading better-for-your-dog treat brand, seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team. The role involves leading marketing strategies for product launches, e-commerce content, and brand marketing initiatives to drive growth and enhance brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead 360• marketing plans to support new product launches, distribution, and tentpole moments by leveraging a mix of digital and IRL tactics, managing and executing deliverables across internal and external teams to drive awareness and trial, and reporting insights and results regularly
- Lead brand content for e-commerce platforms, with an emphasis on Amazon, Chewy, and Walmart.com, working closely with agency partners to ensure all content is on brand, accurate, and optimized
- Lead retailer media strategy, with an emphasis on paid search and driving trial with new-to-brand pet parents at key brick-and-mortar retailers
- Lead social strategy and execution with a focus on Instagram, including owned content, community management, and influencer partnerships
- Create a Surprise & Delight program to build brand love and reward current BDB pet parents in small-but-meaningful ways
- Regularly measure performance and prepare internal reports, with an emphasis on optimization opportunities and insights
- Manage design agency and external partners in the creation of brand assets and marketing materials, including digital content, printed materials, and trade show assets, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and on brand
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills
- 5-7 years of CPG marketing experience required
- Proven record of driving growth through brand marketing initiatives, including lead roles in 360• marketing plans, organic and paid social media, content, and shopper marketing
- Strong copywriting skills, including on-pack messaging, website, and social media
- Strong creative direction skills, including experience acting as the primary point of contact for agency partners, and the ability to provide collaborative direction and feedback
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to process and express complex issues and ideas effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain collaborative, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use data analytics to provide insights, build selling stories, and create effective marketing strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Naturally curious and coachable
