[Remote] Legal Training & Quality Assurance Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NetLaw is a tech-enabled estate planning platform serving wealth management firms through an MSO structure. They are seeking an experienced Legal Training and Quality Assurance Manager to support their affiliate firm, focusing on onboarding, training, and quality assurance to ensure high standards of client service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Alongside Senior Leadership, design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding programs for new hires across paralegal, legal assistant, and administrative roles
- Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and reference guides tailored to estate planning practice areas
- Conduct role-specific training sessions covering firm systems, client intake procedures, document preparation, and compliance standards
- Partner with department leads to identify knowledge gaps and build targeted training curricula
- Track new hire progress through onboarding milestones and provide timely support and guidance
- Review and assess recorded client meetings, internal calls, and consultations to evaluate quality, accuracy, and adherence to firm standards
- Provide structured, constructive written and verbal feedback to staff based on recorded session reviews
- Develop and maintain QA rubrics, scorecards, and evaluation frameworks aligned with firm expectations
- Flag recurring issues or trends to the Director of Legal Operations and recommend corrective action or additional training
- Ensure all client-facing communications and legal documentation meet the firm's quality and professionalism standards
- Collaborate with legal operations to identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose scalable improvements
- Support the implementation and adoption of practice management software, document automation tools, and other legal tech systems
- Document and continuously update internal processes and procedures as workflows evolve
- Assist with firm-wide initiatives to standardize practices and improve consistency across teams
- Participate in regular operations meetings and contribute insights drawn from training and QA findings
Skills
- Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience as a senior paralegal and/or licensed attorney, with a focus on estate planning (wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney, or related areas)
- Proven ability to explain complex legal concepts and procedures clearly to staff at varying experience levels
- Experience reviewing recorded meetings, calls, or work product for quality and compliance purposes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver feedback professionally and constructively
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced professional environment
- Prior experience in a training, coaching, or legal operations capacity
- Familiarity with practice management platforms (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Lawmatics) and document automation tools
- Experience developing SOPs, training guides, or QA evaluation frameworks
- JD or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
