[Remote] Lead Functional Consultant - Fusion Accounting HUB
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oracle is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Functional Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will provide innovative solution leadership, guiding project teams and ensuring solutions meet customer objectives with a focus on Oracle Cloud and accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team
- Owns the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints
- Leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment
- Exercises judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations
- Self-starter that provides direction and mentoring to project teams and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions
- Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions
- Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions
Skills
- Proven experience relevant to this position including 5 years of functional consulting experience
- Prior team leadership or management experience preferred
- Business process experience in the following areas: Oracle Cloud: 4-5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Reporting Studio, Smartview, Subledger Accounting, Accounting Hub Cloud
- 5-10 years/solid overall Record to Report process implementation experience
- Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops
- Ability to manage complex data conversion cycles and explain best practices in migrating historical account balances
- Holds a BS in Accounting or a related field OR equivalent experience
- CPA is a plus
- Product or technical expertise relevant to the practice focus
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%, when required

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
