[Remote] Human Resources Generalist

SeaHill Consulting Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage employee and contractor records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements. The role involves high-volume data entry, onboarding assistance, and support for process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Review and maintain employee and contractor records in company systems
- Verify and document work authorization and citizenship information for contractors supporting project sites
- Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Update personnel information, documentation, and compliance records as needed
- Track missing information and follow up with contractors to obtain required documentation
- Maintain organized electronic records and ensure data integrity across systems
- Assist with onboarding and administrative HR processes
- Generate basic reports and provide status updates to internal stakeholders
- Support process improvement initiatives related to data management and workforce administration
Skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
- 3+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting support, data entry, or related experience
- Strong data entry and data management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working with repetitive tasks and large volumes of information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, utilities, or field services organizations
- Experience working with contractor records, onboarding, or workforce compliance documentation
- Exposure to HR systems or applicant tracking systems
- Interest in process improvement, automation, or AI-enabled workflows
