[Remote] HR Administration and Compliance Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ServiceMaster Restoration Services (SRS) - West Coast is seeking an HR Administration and Compliance Manager responsible for overseeing HR administrative processes and compliance programs. The role includes leading the recruiting team and ensuring that all HR activities are completed accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve HR processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the employee lifecycle
- Oversee employment documentation, personnel records, and HR audits
- Maintain HR forms, job descriptions, policies, and related documentation
- Monitor regulatory changes and recommend process improvements
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support for the recruiting team
- Ensure recruiting, onboarding, background checks, drug testing, E-Verify, and I-9 processes are completed accurately and timely
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience
- Assist with recruiting activities for key or difficult-to-fill positions as business needs require
- Develop recruiting metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Assist in administering leave programs, workers’ compensation, and other HR compliance initiatives
- Coordinate compliance-related training and employee acknowledgments
- Support HR projects focused on improving operational effectiveness and reducing organizational risk
- Generate reports, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Five (5) or more years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and employment compliance
- Demonstrated ability to build, improve, and document HR processes and standard operating procedures
- Working knowledge of I-9, E-Verify, background screening, and employment documentation requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and manage multiple priorities
- Multi-state Human Resources experience
- Experience administering leave programs and/or workers' compensation
- HRIS experience
