[Remote] Guidewire Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amaze Systems is seeking professionals for multiple Guidewire roles including Product Owner, Business Analyst, Solution Engineer, and Solution Architect. The positions require extensive experience in the insurance domain, particularly with Guidewire products, and involve responsibilities such as managing product backlogs, gathering requirements, and leading transformations for insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
- Experience managing product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Knowledge of underwriting, rating, pricing, policy lifecycle, APIs, and integrations
- Experience working in Agile environments, driving roadmap and product vision
- Hands-on experience gathering requirements, conducting workshops, and preparing design documents
- Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance, Personal Property, Auto, and Umbrella lines of business
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
- Ability to perform gap analysis and recommend Guidewire best-practice solutions
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems
- Experience configuring Guidewire modules and supporting end-to-end SDLC activities
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams as a Guidewire SME
- Proven experience leading Guidewire transformations for large P&C insurance carriers
- Ability to define solution architecture, technical roadmap, and mentor delivery teams

- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Deep understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C), Homeowners, Dwelling, and Commercial Property insurance

- 12+ years of Guidewire development and implementation experience
- Associate Guidewire Certification required
- Strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems
- Experience configuring Guidewire modules and supporting end-to-end SDLC activities
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams as a Guidewire SME
- 12+ years of Guidewire experience with strong focus on PolicyCenter implementations
- Guidewire ACE Certification (Integration/Professional) required
- Deep expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite, integrations, data model, rules, and configurations
- Strong knowledge of Microservices, SOA, Cloud Architecture, Java, and Gosu
- Proven experience leading Guidewire transformations for large P&C insurance carriers
- Ability to define solution architecture, technical roadmap, and mentor delivery teams
