[Remote] Engineering Manager, Cloud Engineering

They are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Leader to manage a team responsible for developing network observability tools and enhancing DNS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of stunning software engineers developing network observability, DNS control plane, and network interface software
• Hire, oversee, and grow software developers
• Form strong cross-functional partnerships driven by trust to achieve alignment with many engineering teams and ensure our solutions meet their needs, while maintaining our focus on agility, scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• Build Netflix's network observability capability, guiding the development of a visibility platform that engineering teams use to understand, debug, and secure their traffic
• Improve the distributed system control plane that enables safe DNS management at Netflix

• Experience with building/consuming the networking stack of a public cloud is a plus
• Solid understanding of Layer3/Layer4 networking, and network security is a plus
