[Remote] Director, M&A Business Development
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Madison Street Capital is looking to partner with a highly motivated business development executive to join their growing team as a Director. The Director will focus on originating new client opportunities and managing relationships, requiring strong marketing and business development skills within the M&A sector.
Responsibilities
- Conducting business development activities to identify, source and engage potential clients for M&A and capital raising assignments
- Grow and develop a personal network driven sales effort
- Leverage personal networks of Corporate Development and Accounting/Law firm relationships nationally to secure introduction meetings to identify upcoming transactions that will result in new business for the firm
- Constantly research potential new prospects in the marketplace
- Develop new relationships and contacts that can grow into referral relationships
- Attend networking and industry events to prospect for new opportunities
- Create and execute targeted outbound programs in collaboration with other Senior Executives of the firm in order to continually build our M&A and capital raising brand and surface new opportunities
- Collaborate with Senior Management on potential opportunities and providing best firm practices to potential opportunities
Skills
- Highly motivated business development executive
- Excellent marketing and business development skills
- Understanding of the transaction process
- Exceptional experience and talent for developing rapport and relationships with business CEO's and owners
- Experience with professional services firms like Law and Accounting firms
- Personal preference for client relationship building
- Focus on negotiating engagements for M&A sell-side services and capital raising engagements through debt and equity resources
- Ability to conduct business development activities to identify, source and engage potential clients for M&A and capital raising assignments
- Ability to grow and develop a personal network driven sales effort
