[Remote] Cybersecurity IT Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MIGSO-PCUBED is a global management consulting firm focused on delivering project, program, & portfolio management services. The Cybersecurity IT Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of IT programs, focusing on cybersecurity initiatives, and will manage coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project execution in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team coordination
- Lead coordination efforts across internal and external teams, often distributed across time zones, to ensure collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones
- Identify and overcome needs or requirements, pain points, and process bottlenecks
- Establish trust and influence decisions through strong communication skills
- Be the point of contact for the delivery workstreams
- Deliverable monitoring & Technical challenges management
- Monitor the engineering team's progress on technical deliverables
- Identify roadblocks early and facilitate resolution to keep delivery on track
- Engage with external teams and SME to identify progress and develop/implement solutions
- Agile governance & Processes
- Ensure agile processes are aligned with agile way of working, agile quality standards
- Identify project management processes improvements
- Risk Management & Continuous improvement
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitate retros/lessons learned sessions and apply insights to improve future project execution
- Product/Tool strategy support
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and subject matter experts to document product strategy, operational needs, and compliance requirements
- Maintain the product Knowledge Base updated and develop new content as needed
- Delivery accountability & Reporting
- Proactively follow up on outstanding decisions, actions, and deliverables from stakeholders
- Maintain project momentum and ensure no critical item is missed
- Reporting weekly using current reporting lines and artifacts
- Change & flexibility
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate evolving requirements, while still delivering on critical milestones
- Technical Background (not required but have experience/knowledge)
- Experience or knowledge of applications or tools in Network Security to provide oversight on compliance reports, audit responses, and on-prem deployments
Skills
- Strong leadership and project coordination skills in technical and cross-functional environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and structured approach to delivery tracking
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycles
- Hands-on with delivery and collaboration tooling such as Jira and Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field
- Project management roles within IT or network security / infrastructure environments
- Experience working in Agile and cross-functional setups
- Consulting or client-facing project delivery experience is a plus
- Exposure to Banking, financial services, or technology are preferred
- Prior exposure or awareness to Cybersecurity / Network Security or Segmentation / IT Infrastructure is a huge advantage
- Understanding of compliance and governance in technical environments
- Experience or knowledge of applications or tools in Network Security to provide oversight on compliance reports, audit responses, and on-prem deployments
- Illumio / Guardicore (is a plus)
