[Remote] Consultant SD
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Syntax is a leading Managed Cloud Provider for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SAP SD Public Cloud Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP SD Public Cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of SAP SD Public Cloud solutions across a range of client projects
- Assist with configuring SAP SD to align with business requirements and process needs
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing solution maintenance
- Provide first-level support for SAP SD issues and help troubleshoot functional and technical challenges
- Work closely with senior consultants to ensure smooth operation of SAP Public Cloud systems
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and procedures
- Generate reports and supporting materials for internal teams and client stakeholders as needed
- Assist in training end-users on SAP SD functionality, processes, and best practices
- Stay current with SAP SD Public Cloud features, updates, and enhancements
- Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, IT, and other cross-functional teams to support project delivery and issue resolution
- Partner with clients to understand business processes, requirements, and operational priorities
Skills
- 3–4 years of experience working with SAP SD and/or SAP Public Cloud
- Basic understanding of SAP Finance functionalities and related business processes
- Hands-on experience supporting implementation, configuration, or maintenance activities in SAP SD
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document processes clearly and accurately
- Good communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and follow-through
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- SAP certification in SD, SAP Public Cloud, or related areas is a plus
- Additional SAP training or professional development in Finance or cloud-based solutions is preferred
- Experience supporting SAP SD Public Cloud projects in a client-facing environment
- Exposure to system upgrades, enhancements, and end-user support activities
- Familiarity with cross-functional processes involving Finance, Logistics, and IT
- Experience preparing user documentation, process guides, or training materials
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services
