[Remote] Business Partner, Human Resources

They are seeking a Business Partner in Human Resources to partner with leaders in developing HR solutions that enhance organizational performance and ensure a productive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Partners with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and develop HR strategies that drive organizational outcomes
- Provides guidance and interpretation for managers and employees on employment laws, health and safety regulations, company policies, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and consistent employee management
- Supports management and employees by improving work relationships, building morale, and strengthening retention to foster a positive and productive work environment
- Aligns workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design to meet business needs effectively
- Identifies development needs and collaborates with Learning and Development to deliver impactful training programs
- Addresses employee relations issues, conducts investigations, and ensures fair and consistent application of policies
- Coaches managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes for union and non-union environments
- Analyzes HR data and prepares reports to provide insights that guide decision-making and support continuous improvement
- Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations
- Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services
- Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university
- 5-7 years of professional and progressive human resources related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years in managing complex employee relations issues, including internal investigations and documentation
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Analytical and strong negotiating skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Microsoft proficient (Word, Excel & PP)
- Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services
