[Remote] Business Development Manager

Martinus Group is a leading full-service railway infrastructure company that design, builds and maintains large scale railways across the globe. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and grow pipeline within the transit sector, focusing on identifying opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with Martinus Group's North American growth objectives
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within the transit and rail infrastructure sector
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with transit authorities, owners, engineering consultants, contractors, and industry partners
- Monitor market trends, upcoming procurements, and capital investment programs to position Martinus Group early in the project lifecycle
- Work collaboratively with operational, engineering, commercial, and bid teams to develop winning pursuit strategies
- Represent Martinus Group at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events
- Support strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliance opportunities where appropriate
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging market opportunities

- Experience in managing and growing pipeline within the transit sector

- Demonstrated business development experience within the North American transit, rail, transportation, or infrastructure sector

- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence, collaborate, and build trusted partnerships across diverse organizations
- Willingness to travel throughout North America as required
