[Remote] Associate Director - Flights Marketing (Bangkok-based, relocation provided)

They are seeking an Associate Director for Flights Marketing to define and execute the marketing strategy for their Flights Vertical, manage a team, and analyze data to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Co-own the flights P&L with Product counterparts
- Define the overall Marketing Strategy for Flights Vertical
- Execute the strategy: spearhead the development, execution, and optimization for growing Agoda’s Flights business on different channels (e.g., CRM, Paid Performance marketing, pricing)
- Guide, coach and manage a team
- Conduct end-to-end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights
- Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to rigorously evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data-driven decisions for channel growth
- Partner closely with various business functions, especially Marketing Accommodation, Flights product and flights supply, to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using different techniques and tools such as SQL or Tableau to drive meaningful initiatives
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to key stakeholders, including senior management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and managers; participate in hiring and onboarding new team members
Skills
- 10+ years in marketing analytics position or otherwise in projects involving big data - preferably in the tech, e-commerce, or digital marketing industry
- Experience in articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives – experience in leading strategy consulting projects
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/Statistics/Math or Engineering or Economics and Finance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, translate data into actionable insights, and generate impactful recommendations using SQL
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful and visually appealing presentations
- Ability to effectively communicate, influence and persuade with different levels of stakeholders (especially Senior Management) with proven strong commercial acumen
- People management experience: including hiring, coaching, and developing team members
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a get-thing-done attitude
- Experience in digital or social media marketing
- Experience in the online travel or e-commerce industry
- Experience in flights industry
- Experience in hypothesis testing frameworks, statistical analysis, and using Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
