[Remote] Advisor / Strategic Consultant – Federal, Government & SLED Sales (Remote – USA)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a seasoned Federal, Government, or SLED Business Development professional to join as a Strategic Advisor/Consultant. The role involves advising leadership on market entry strategies, guiding procurement processes, and mentoring sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Advise our leadership team on entering and growing within the Federal, Government, and SLED markets
- Guide us on RFP/RFI opportunities, procurement processes, and contracting strategies
- Leverage your network to help establish relationships with key decision-makers and partners
- Mentor our sales and business development teams on best practices for government sales
- Provide strategic direction on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
Skills
- 15+ years of Business Development, Capture, or Government Sales experience
- Strong relationships within the Federal, Government, or SLED ecosystem
- Proven track record of winning government contracts and bringing in new business
- Deep understanding of RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, GSA Schedules, IDIQs, state contracts, and procurement processes
- Experience in IT Services, Staffing, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, or Technology Solutions is highly preferred
