[Remote] Account Executive – SMB SaaS (Sports Technology)

Uplifter Inc. is one of North America's leading sports technology companies, and they are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to help sports clubs modernize their operations. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, generating new business, and collaborating with various teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Generate new business through outbound calling, email outreach, referrals and inbound opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls with club owners, executive directors and administrators
- Deliver engaging online product demonstrations
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline using Salesforce
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close new business
- Help clubs transition from legacy software to Uplifter
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Product to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Skills
- Proven success in quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales
- Experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Comfortable making outbound calls every day and building your own pipeline
- Strong discovery, presentation and closing skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Competitive, self-motivated and highly coachable
- Experience selling SMB software is highly desirable
- Experience selling into sports, recreation or membership-based organizations is a bonus, but not required
