Payroll Specialist – UKG / Pay Pro

This is a remote position. We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience using UKG / Pay Pro. This role is responsible for accurate payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, and maintaining clean payroll records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable working in structured payroll systems. This is a hands-on payroll role focused on accuracy, compliance, and consistency. It is not an HR generalist or managerial position.

Key Responsibilities

Process payroll accurately and on schedule using UKG / Pay Pro Monitoring the Payroll Inbox and responding to emails in a timely manner. Review timekeeping data, pay rates, deductions, and payroll adjustments Ensure employees are paid correctly, on time, and without errors Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or inconsistencies Process payroll corrections, off-cycle runs, and adjustments when required Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax requirements, and internal controls Respond to employee payroll-related questions clearly and professionally Coordinate with HR and accounting teams as needed Support payroll audits and reporting requests Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in payroll processing Hands-on experience with UKG / Pay Pro (required) Strong understanding of payroll procedures, deductions, and compliance High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable with repetitive, deadline-driven work Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Preferred Qualifications
