Part-Time Telehealth Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Contract to Hire

We are a growing US-based telehealth startup building a digital-first healthcare platform to deliver accessible, high-quality care to patients across the country. We are looking to reputed company reputed company, licensed Nurse Practitioners on a part-time, contract basis reputed company reputed company to see patients, assess symptoms, and prescribe non-controlled medications through our telehealth platform. This role is ideal for NPs who want flexible, remote work alongside their existing practice or as a primary engagement. You will conduct virtual consultations, reputed company treatment plans, and issue prescriptions for non-controlled medications, including treatments for women’s hormonal health (estrogen and progesterone-based HRT), primary care conditions, and chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct synchronous telehealth consultations with patients reputed company our HIPAA-compliant video/audio platform Evaluate patient history, symptoms, and diagnostic information to reputed company clinical diagnoses Prescribe non-controlled medications including antibiotics, antidepressants, blood pressure medications, diabetes medications, and hormone replacement therapy (estrogen and progesterone) reputed company individualized treatment plans and patient care documentation in our EHR system Provide patient education and follow-up guidance during or after consultations Review patient-submitted intake forms and lab results prior to appointments Ensure reputed company care is delivered in compliance with state-specific scope of practice laws where the patient is located Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes in accordance with applicable standards Requirements - Licensure (Non-Negotiable) - Active, unrestricted NP license in at least one Full Practice Authority (FPA) state - Preference for NPs licensed in multiple states - No reputed company disciplinary actions, suspensions, or restrictions on any license - Must maintain licensure in good standing throughout the engagement Education & Certification Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program reputed company national NP certification (AANP or ANCC) in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, or Women’s Health Active NPI (National Provider Identifier) number Clinical Experience Minimum 2 years of clinical NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or women’s health Demonstrated experience prescribing in a telehealth or digital health setting (preferred) Technical & Soft Skills - Reliable high-speed internet reputed company and a quiet, private workspace for patient consultations - Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR software, and digital communication tools - Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear patient education - Ability to manage a patient panel independently with minimal administrative overhead - High degree of professionalism, accountability, and clinical judgment reputed company Offer - Fully remote, flexible scheduling, you set your own availability - Competitive per-consultation or hourly compensation, negotiable based on number of states licensed and specialty - HIPAA-compliant platform, no need to invest in your own tech infrastructure - Clinical protocols and intake support provided, you focus on the patient - Opportunity to grow with us as we expand into new states and service lines Important Scope Note This role does not involve prescribing controlled substances (DEA Schedules II–V). reputed company prescribing is limited to non-controlled legend medications only.
