Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Entry-Level Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs to children on the autism spectrum. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one (11) in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum, implementing evidence-based treatment plans and strategies.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using discrete trials and other assessment tools to inform treatment decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a professional and goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred.
  • Experience working with children for 1 year in a 11 setting, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle.
  • Physical Requirements Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs, perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
