Computer Vision Engineer for Colour-Corrected Strip Scanner Prototype

Computer Vision Engineer — Colour-Corrected Strip Extraction Prototype I am looking for a computer-vision engineer for a focused paid prototype. The task is to build a scanner pipeline, plus a minimal iPhone app wrapper, for a fixed-layout multi-pad colourimetric strip photographed alongside a visible colour reference card. The scanner pipeline must process both still images and selected video frames at requested timestamps. For each image or frame, the pipeline must detect the reference card, use its known patch values to colour-correct the image, locate the strip, derive the individual pad sampling regions, and output one corrected colour value per pad plus a quality flag. Pads can be labelled generically as pad_01, pad_02, etc. The minimal iPhone app wrapper should open the camera, capture an image or selected video frame, run the scanner pipeline, show detected card / strip / pad overlays, and save the extracted output. This is a colour extraction task only. No interpretation of what the pad colours mean is in scope. I am looking for someone with real experience in camera-based computer vision, especially colour calibration, image processing, object detection, iOS camera integration, or mobile imaging. Please share one or two relevant examples. The work starts with a small paid test task before any larger engagement. For the test task, I would expect you to show: 1. how you detect and use the colour reference card; 2. how you validate that colour correction worked; 3. how you locate the strip and pad sampling regions; 4. how you process both still images and selected video frames; 5. how the scanner pipeline would later be wrapped into a minimal iPhone app; 6. what data you would need from me.
