Trade Compliance Attorney
Join Our Team as a Trade Compliance Lawyer at Axiom We are currently seeking Trade Compliance Lawyers to join our bench of attorneys working for our F500-ranked clients in the aerospace, defense and life sciences industries. Responsibilities: Provide legal guidance and support to our clients on matters related to export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and other trade regulations Conduct thorough reviews of international trade transactions, agreements, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks Conduct investigations and draft voluntary disclosures Advise on trade compliance requirements and best practices Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement effective solutions Qualifications: Vietnamese language proficiency Experience practicing law with a focus on international trade compliance, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC Strong knowledge of import and export controls, economic sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant trade laws and regulations Ability to stay current on changes to trade laws and regulations, and advise management on potential impacts on business operations Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction. Compensation: The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
