Technical Business Analyst
This is a remote position. Focus: Bridge business teams and delivery teams for data engineering, analytics, AI, and Power BI work; gather requirements clearly and help keep scope sharp for parallel work streams Key responsibilities: Work directly with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for analytics and data use cases Translate business needs into clear inputs for data engineers, AI teams, and Power BI developers Validate that delivered outputs match business intent before going back to users Help define features and scope so complexity stays controlled and value stays high Support milestone-based delivery across multiple parallel workstreams What we’re looking for: Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst on data engineering / data analytics projects Strong understanding of data, analytics, reporting, and BI environments Able to understand data flows, analytics requirements, and basic technical design discussions Comfortable with Power BI, data platforms, and basic SQL Strong communication skills; able to work with business users and technical teams Ideal background: someone who has worked in data warehouse / analytics delivery and then moved into BA or BSA-type roles Nice to have: Healthcare or pharma industry experience is big plus Experience in AI + analytics programs Experience in customer-facing, onsite stakeholder coordination Ability to work in fast-moving, end-to-end delivery engagements
