Tableau Analyst Contractor We are seeking a detail-oriented Tableau Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and operational initiatives across the organization. This role combines business intelligence development with hands-on operations analysis. The ideal candidate is familiar with Tableau, proficient in Excel, enjoys working with data, and can translate business requirements into actionable insights. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who can build and maintain dashboards, perform ad hoc analysis, identify data quality issues, and support business decision-making through accurate and timely reporting. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of full-time conversion. RESPONSIBILITIES Tableau Development & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Create and optimize calculated fields, parameters, filters, and data models within Tableau. Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies. Monitor dashboard performance and recommend improvements. Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports and systems. Excel & Data Management Export and manipulate large datasets for analysis. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, nested formulas, etc. Reconcile data across multiple sources and investigate discrepancies. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree required. QUALIFICATIONS Possess 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or a related analytical role. Possess hands-on experience with the following software: Tableau - including dashboard development and calculated fields. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Demonstrate hands-on experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis. Exemplify the ability to multitask and thrive in an agile, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Possess proficient verbal and written communication skills, while willing to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization to achieve the desired results. Possess high ethics and conduct business in the most professional manner. Act as a results-oriented team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues. Preferred Additional Experience: Operating within CRM platforms such as Salesforce. Data quality management and process improvement initiatives. SCHEDULE This is an hourly position with overtime for hours worked beyond 40 per week. There may be projects that require activities beyond the standard hours. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Hourly rate determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, and abilities.
